The pedestrianized streets are located in a central and important part of the city, in an area surrounded by various educational and public buildings. Despite its central and connecting location between the two main arteries, it is currently used only as a transit space.
The project takes the existing structure of the space as the existing architectural texture, adding a new layer to this existing layer and creating the public space. It is an articulation that tries to meet the needs of the city by taking shape according to the structure of the city. A change in the street structure with a holistic result product that aims to rehabilitate the changed places with minimal changes in the places where it is added. It is a targeted application. Trying to find solutions to the determined spatial problems with the changes in themselves and trying to change. This layer, which can adapt, aims to bring a new proposal to the use of the street and the public in Usak.
In the proposed scenario, the design enables the cube modules to function and create spaces by combining. used in modules material selection is timber, which is a strong material in terms of sustainability, naturalness and accessibility. Tree main typologies were designed according to the existing function of the structure.
